I’m Kamra! The heart behind Kamra Ellen Photography. I’m based in North Central Indiana where life is usually a mix of editing galleries during nap time, reheating my coffee for the third time, chasing after my three littles and soaking up the beauty tucked inside ordinary days.

Photography became deeply personal to me after becoming a mother. Time suddenly felt fragile in a way I had never understood before. The tiny curls at the nape of their necks, the way they reach for my hand, the chaos, the tenderness, the in-between moments that don’t seem important until they’re gone. Those are the things I never want people to forget.

I’ve always been sentimental at heart, drawn to the feeling of nostalgia and the stories photographs hold long after a moment has passed. Some of my favorite images aren’t technically perfect at all. They are the ones that instantly take you back to a season of life you’d do anything to relive for just one more minute.

And maybe it’s fitting that my name is Kamra... just one letter away from “camera.” It feels a little like this was always meant to be part of my story.
